These guidelines exist to protect the people mentioned in submissions, protect submitters from liability, and ensure Kultivia data remains trustworthy for every job seeker who relies on it.
Personal identification of individuals
You cannot name or identify specific individuals in any form including full names, job titles that make someone identifiable, contact details, or physical descriptions. Rate the culture of the team — not the behavior of specific people.
False factual claims
You cannot state as fact something you cannot personally verify — such as claiming the company committed fraud or broke the law. Opinions and personal experiences are allowed. Unverifiable factual claims are not.
Discriminatory content
You cannot post content that demeans or generalizes about people based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
Harassment and threats
You cannot post content that targets, threatens, or harasses any individual or group, or content designed to damage a specific person's reputation.
Irrelevant personal information
You cannot post personal information about colleagues or managers that is not relevant to the workplace culture experience — including personal life, health, or financial details.
Unverifiable rumor and hearsay
You cannot post things you heard secondhand. Every submission must be based on what you personally experienced in that department.
Competitor promotion or attacks
You cannot use your submission to promote a competitor or attack a company you never worked at.
Promotional content
You cannot write what is essentially marketing material for your employer. Genuine positive reviews are welcome. Coached promotional content is not.
Illegal content
You cannot post content that is illegal under United States law.
Contact information and links
You cannot include personal emails, phone numbers, social media handles, or URLs in your submission.
Submissions about companies you did not work at
You can only rate companies where your employment has been verified.
Submissions that violate these guidelines are removed without notice. Accounts that repeatedly violate the policy are permanently suspended. Kultivia will never publicly identify a submitter in connection with a removed post.
